GENOMICS
Genomics is a broad term to denote the study of the genetic makeup of an organism that is the genome. A genome is ‘the complete set of genes or genetic material present in a cell or organism’. This field of science includes all kinds of DNA/RNA related experiments which may have very diverse inferences in medicine, biology, microbiology, neuroscience, pharmacy, and other vital branches of science.

PCR BUFFERS, REAGENTS AND KITS
Polymerase chain reaction or PCR is a technique which amplifies or makes multiple copies of a sequence of DNA in interest. It initially involves the denaturation of the double-stranded DNA at a temperature of 94°C to 96°C. This is followed by the annealing or joining of the specifically designed primer at the target site and finally, polymerase action leading to its elongation by the addition of the nucleotides. There are several variations of PCR including gradient PCR, digital PCR, Quantitative PCR (qPCR), Real Time-PCR, RT-PCR, nested PCR, multiplex PCR and so on. This molecular biology tool requires a variety of reagent solutions and other requirements. These encompass buffer solutions, magnesium chloride solutions, SYBR green kits, genotype panels, polymerase kits, molecular biology grade water, primers, the sample DNA template, the deoxynucleoside triphosphates or dNTPs mixture, RNase inhibitors, RAPD kits etc. PCR Kits are available bundled with various products which are quick to use. PROTEOMICS
Proteomics is a broad term with interdisciplinary implications mainly in the realms of molecular biology. A proteome is defined as the entire set of proteins that are produced or modified by an organism or system. Protein detection (with or without antibodies), structure identification or its modification, understanding various biochemical phenomena like phosphorylation or ubiquitination are all part of proteomics and have very diverse & deep implications in medicine, biology, microbiology, neuroscience, pharmacy, and other vital branches of knowledge.

CELL CULTURE AND ANTIBODIES –
Prepare, Grow, Analyze Cell culture refers to growing and maintaining of the cells (both plants and animals) outside of their natural environment in a controlled laboratory. Cells provide a good substitute for the use of animal models and in some cases used in preliminary research before experimenting using animal models.
Antibodies or immunoglobulins are large proteins that are generally produced by the plasma cells to neutralize pathogens such as bacteria and viruses. Antibodies function by recognizing a unique molecule on the pathogen which is called an Antigen. The antibody then binds the antigen based on the specificity. The Antibody-Antigen binding can carry out a diverse set of functions which include neutralization, precipitation, agglutination, complement activation etc.
